Tuition & Assistance

Welcome to Bishop Hartley High School

The 2024-2025 tuition rates can be found below. In families with multiple children enrolled concurrently, there is a discounted tuition schedule. The student life fee applies to each child registered and is not discounted.

Student Tuition $11,700
Student Life Fee $500*

Student Life Fee
Bishop Hartley High School separates activities and materials that are curricular in nature from those that are not strictly academic. The Student Life fee helps to offset the costs of the school’s co-curricular, non-academic materials and activities such as student technology, the House System, and class retreats. It also provides students an Activity Pass for entrance to most home athletic and drama events. The Student Life Fee must be paid by all students attending Bishop Hartley High School.

Catholic Parishioner Grant
Families can apply for and receive Catholic Parishioner Grants, to further discount tuition. These grants were previously referred to as “participating rates.” To qualify for the parishioner grant, your parish (listed on your tuition statement) must agree to provide the established parish grant for your child(ren). For questions, please contact Director of Finance, Ronda Galleher, at rgallehe@cdeducation.org or (614) 237-5421 ext. 10630.

1st Child Catholic Parishioner Grant                $600
2nd Child Catholic Parishioner Grant              $2,130
2nd Child (non-Catholic) Hartley Grant            $1,530

  • Tuition Assistance

Bishop Hartley High School has a long tradition of working with families to help them achieve their dream of the Hawk Experience. Each year Bishop Hartley sets aside funds to assist families with this Catholic education in the form of tuition assistance. Tuition Assistance Applications are available beginning December 1 and must be submitted by March 15. Both the Diocese of Columbus and Bishop Hartley High School use this application to award tuition assistance funds. Please note that a child must be enrolled at Bishop Hartley to receive tuition assistance.
  • Merit-Based Scholarships

The Bishop Hartley merit-based scholarship program is funded by our Catholic parishes and community. As such, it is only available to eighth grade students who are attending a Catholic school or parish (including PSR students). Students who wish to apply for a scholarship must submit an online application to Hartley, supply necessary supporting documents, and take our Admission Test in November or December.
  • EdChoice

The Ohio Educational Choice (EdChoice) Scholarship Program provides students throughout the State of Ohio the opportunity to attend participating private schools for little or no cost. Enacted in 2005 to serve families living in underperforming school districts, the program has since expanded to provide increased opportunities to all Ohio families with scholarships up to $6,165 for K-8 and $8,407 for grades 9-12.

Due to the recent changes in the state's biennial budget, families 450% or below of the Federal Poverty Guideline are eligible for the full EdChoice scholarship amount. Families above 450% will be eligible for a portion of the scholarship, dependent on their income and family size.
  • FACTS Payment Plans

Families with a student attending Bishop Hartley must sign-up for tuition payment plans for the 2024-2025 school year using the FACTS system. This system allows parents and families to select 10- or 12-month payment plants, date of payment each month, and automated payment. Learn more.
